We have been busy recently. Planning/hosting engagement parties, selling furniture, raising two giant dogs, getting over being sick, updating the house, and visiting with family and friends. Wow - and we made it through it all!
This weekend we held a Caribbean themed party for Mark and Kathy who get married in June. We had a lot of fun and managed to float a keg and go through 5 handles of tequila via a margarita machine. Needless to say, people were hurting yesterday!
We also sold the German sectional Chris brought home. The dogs made it their lounge and their fur and the coloring did not mesh. We were sad to see it go, but loved the money we got!
The dogs also got to stay out this weekend. Jericho has always been great, but Kaiser is still a puppy and he is too smart for his own good. Saturday was a great day for them. Sunday is a different story. Kaiser took out the paper bags and decorated the house as well as found the Sangria in a drawer and proceeded to get drunk. hahaha! Thank goodness for GPuppies being so close to come to the rescue. hahaha!
Chris and I both managed to get sinus/colds the past two weeks. Call me crazy but I think it is because we burn at both ends and never rest. Oh the life of being newlyweds/Financial Advisor. We are both just now feeling better. Thank you thank you!
Adam installed tile for us in our kitchen. We updated the old countertops with beautiful tile and a backsplash. It really did wonders for the house and updated/modernized our kitchen. Everyday is progress and hopefully soon we will have it matching the times.
We will post pics of all these events so you can see the fun we had. Check back soon.
Oh and Chris found out he will be in wave 1 of the NYC Marathon. That means he starts at 9:40am. Should be a great weekend. Watch out NYC!
