It's/was my birthday....

So I hit the big 30! Party - I am that much closer to getting discounts for my age. hahaha! You have to look at the bright side of things. The day was beautiful - sunny and not too hot! I took a picture of the snow capped mountains from our hotel. The great thing about the Rockies is they are located on the west so there is always built in navigation. Thank goodness!



I went shopping at Target and bought a bunch of goodies. Found another mall about 5 minutes from the house that has a ton of stores that I will need, JoAnnes - Petsmart - Target - Sally's - Starbucks and close to it is a Safeway. The other mall is called Southlands and that is off of Smoky Hill and 470 (the toll road). I love shopping.

For dinner we went to Lodo to celebrate at Vesta's Dipping Grill. The food was delicious. A hip atmosphere with great music and good people watching. We will definitely take guests here in the future. There is also a Celtic Pub that has live music on F/S and 9th on the Avenue (I believe) is another fun looking bar/restaurant on the same block. Lodo is like Uptown in Dallas.
