Well, I promised I would get better....sorry it has been a while. The past 8 weeks I have been teaching fourth and fifth graders at a Learning Center near Fair Park. Needless to say, I have been extremely busy. Living at home with the "rents" and pups. In school all week and then finishing up the last quarter of my Master's program and am in class for that M-W until 930ish. I am happy to report that I only have two weeks of this craziness left. Yea! Chris is completing Captain's Career Course before heading to Airborne and Ranger school. Things are good, but we are so involved with our current situation that we barely have time to breathe. This weekend I got to go and visit him. We had a great time playing with friends, hanging with each other, and enjoying OK. If you can believe that...
On another front, we are sad to watch our sweet uncle suffer from cancer and endure the final moments of his life. He is being a trooper and there has been a great support system around him and our family. We will miss him, but I am trying not to think about it. He has been a wonderful part of our lives and loved us as his own. Prayers and love need to be pushed his way.
While one life is slowly leaving us another one will soon be introduced. Lisa and Jon are due in the next two weeks. We are very excited to meet our niece Natalia. Happy times!
That is really what has been taking place since I last chatted. Once school is over you can be sure that you will see a lot more of me and Stitches and Stilettos!
